What do you think is the perfect way to spend Christmas at Disney? We don't care about crowds. Have children ages 5 and 7. Thanks you!

    Andrew:

Some of the most memorable pictures we have of our children at Disney when they were the ages of your kids, are pictures with each of the different Santas and storytellers in Epcot.  From Pere Noel in France to Mrs. & Mrs. Claus in the American Pavilion, even our youngest learned a lot as we met each. It certainly made the crowds and this theme park that many think is for older children a delight.

We capped off the evening with special dinner reservations and then the Candlelight Processional. Although we opted for Morocco for dinner, I'd recommend another country. Our family loves international cuisine like Japanese and Thai, but the Moroccan food, even "Disney-fied" was a stretch not to mention the dancer that had me a little embarrassed as the mother of three boys.  (We recently ate at Via Napoli and could have eaten our weight in the wood-fire pizza!  Try it or the fun-loving Biergarten!)

Our church performs a Christmas cantata every year, but nothing like the sizeable Choir and trumpets of the Candelight Processional. We like to near the deaf interpreter to give a deeper meaning to the words and performance--it will keep your youngsters enthralled and help remind them of the true reason for the holiday.

Wishing y'all a magical vacation and a memorable Christmas!
    Whitney

p.s. If you can go on Christmas Eve, the crowds tend to be slightly lower than on Christmas Day.

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
