I think magic bands are great for me and my husband, not so much my 1 and 4 yo. Can i ask for cards for them instead of the bands but still use the bands for my husband and I? I think cards will be easier to keep up with in parks.

    Hi Erin!

Much to my surprise, my two year old loved wearing hers!  I bought some jewels to jazz hers up a little bit and she thought it was the coolest thing ever.  I was prepared for her not to wear it, but I was pleasantly surprised.

For now, the resorts are still issuing the cards in addition to the Magic Bands.  Not all locations inside and out of the parks are capable of accepting the Magic Bands for payment, so they suggest you carry the cards with you at all times.  If your children don't end up wearing the bands, you can leave them in your purse or day bag.  I did end up wearing my son's band most of the time, he's five.

    Have a magical day!
