Do you think it's more fun to do Characters in Flight in the daytime or at night? I don't want to up at night and be disappointed by not being able to see much!

    Hi Brenda ~

Thank you for coming back to us with another question!

I love Characters in Flight and consider myself a frequent flyer. I have taken flights during the day and night and they are both different experiences.

I love lights and its great to see them from high above. If you time your flight just right, you may be able to see the fireworks while you're up. Just keep in mind that they will not keep the balloon up any longer even if its during the fireworks.

On a clear day, you can see for several miles. If I were taking my first flight and had a choice, I would opt for a day flight. The lines are shorter earlier in the morning. There is usually a chance of afternoon showers in Central Florida so going earlier in the morning reduces your chance of increased winds and inclement weather which may result in cancelled flights.

We take a set of small binoculars with us. You are allowed to walk around the basket to look around once you've reached your top altitude. Be sure to take your camera too. You can get some really great photos and the pilot will take a picture of your party for you as well.

If you ever have an opportunity to take a second flight, I would go back and take an evening flight.

Please feel free to keep the questions coming. We're hEAR for you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
