Do you think 1 full day from park opening to park closing at DL park would be enough time to get on most of the rides & walk through at least most of the park with several breaks in between would be enough time?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kaysea!

You can absolutely see and do a lot of Disneyland Park in one day if you have a solid strategy. Your first tactic should be to arrive at the gates about 30 minutes or so before the park opens for the day. This will allow you to be one of the first few people into the park which means you can walk on to many attractions. I suggest heading straight to an attraction that doesn’t offer FASTPASS and typically experiences long wait times throughout the day. Peter Pan’s Flight, Alice in Wonderland, and Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage are all good picks.

Speaking of FASTPASS, you will definitely want to add Disney MaxPass to your ticket. MaxPass allows you to make FASTPASS selections from anywhere in the park using the Disneyland app on your mobile device. As soon as you are through the park gates, select your first FASTPASS with MaxPass and then head to one of the attractions listed above while you await your return time. Continue to make FASTPASS selections as soon as you are able throughout the day to maximize your time.

Finally, plan on eating at quick service restaurants for lunch and dinner so you have more time to experience the park. Some of my favorites include Jolly Holiday Bakery Café, Hungry Bear Restaurant, and French Market Restaurant. To save you even more time, utilize the Mobile Ordering feature in the Disneyland app to order and receive your food without having to wait in line.

If you have any other questions or want even more tips on touring the park efficiently, please stop by again!
