Do you think $500 will be enough for just souvenirs and little things that we might see while there for 4 day? I will be going with a family of 3(Dad,Mom, and 4 Yr old girl)

    Hi Earl:

While some of my vacations at Walt Disney World have involved heavy amounts of souvenir shopping (including purchases of wonderful Disney World artwork), I've also vacationed on a budget, limiting souvenir purchases.

Here are some examples of how far your $500 souvenir budget should take you. I've just started to teach my youngest about saving. Luckily, even with small allowances, my kids are able to choose from a number of non-expensive souvenirs at Walt Disney World. You'll find autograph books, key chains, pens, pencils, antenna toppers, Disney-themed candy and character figurines for a few dollars. Walt Disney World luggage tags cost about $5.00. Your daughter can collect pins and Vinylmations (some for under $10) as well. Pressed coins are also inexpensive as they only cost 51 cents for a penny or $1.25 for a quarter. There are so many inexpensive collectibles or gifts to choose from. I would browse around the Disney Store online to get a sense of what else may be available during your trip. When you get to Walt Disney World, I would make stop at the World of Disney for an extremely large selection of souvenirs spanning various price ranges.

    Enjoy your vacation.
