Hi, do you think 1 day at magic kingdom will be enough for a 4 yr old and 19 month old? How should we spend our day to get the most bang for our buck? If we add the water park, coup we do that the next day or does it have to be the same day? Thank you!!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Christine ~

I am limited in space but I'll try to give you as much information as I can and you are welcome to come back. Depending on what your main must dos are and the crowd levels, you may or may not be able to accomplish everything in one day at the Magic Kingdom. There are lots of character meet and greet opportunities, shows, dance parties, parades, and fireworks in addition to all of the amazing attractions for little ones. If you feel your children will mostly want to focus on attractions, you may be able to accomplish everything in one day. However, if you want to try to do it all for their ages, I would recommend a second day. That also helps if you plan to take a break during the day which is very helpful with little ones.

I would definitely recommend meeting Mickey Mouse in the Town Square Theater (he talks in that location!). Other favorites for younger ones are Peter Pan's Flight, "it's a small world", The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Dumbo, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, and Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid.

If you are eligible, be sure to take advantage of Disney FastPass+ service to save time. Here are some details about how the Disney FastPass+ service works.

I would not try to do a water park on the same day. In my opinion, you would not get to see half of the awesome things that Magic Kingdom has to offer and you would not get to spend enough time at a water park to justify the cost of the ticket.

Please feel free to visit us with all of your planning questions. We are hEAR for you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
