What are some things we can during our off days from the parks (we have 2.5 days)? I have 3 daughters (aged 6, 3, and 2) and we will be going in March. Thank you!

    Hello, Kristen!

A few days off from the parks is really a fantastic way to relax and enjoy some family / resort time together, especially when the little ones might be entirely exhausted from multiple long days in the parks in a row. Good planning, Mom! :-)

We often like to spend a day relaxing by the resort pool, keeping an eye on the activity schedule, poolside, as well. The kids have participated in trivia games, bingo and other contests, even winning prizes as well. Some of our favorite memories are of lazy days by the resort pool, with patches of Cast Member organized fun thrown in throughout the day.  We also love to book a character meal at one of the resort hotels on a non-park day, since that allows us to get dressed up to meet some Disney friends without needed a park pass, then spend the rest of the day or night elsewhere.

Don't forget to visit Downtown Disney, which is a non-ticketed venue that includes shops, dining and even the world's largest store for all things Disney, The World of Disney. A full-service movie theater, bowling alley and magical makeover salon, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique are also there for Guests' enjoyment, and you can wander around at your own pace.

Send me another question telling me where you'll be staying and if you'll have a car, and I can be more specific about things to do at your resort or nearby areas. There are hidden gems throughout Walt Disney World, no matter where you're staying. You're in for so much fun!
