Is there such a thing as too many character meals? We are arriving 12/19 and staying till 12/28 leaving that night. How would you space out the character meals? Our first trip with DD2 who will almost be 3. We can't wait:)

    Hi Connie!

I personally don't think there is such a thing as too many character meals. Everyone may not agree, but I think it depends on your unique situation and what your family would enjoy.  Like you, I have very young children and they love seeing the characters - especially my daughter. For our upcoming vacation I have quite a few character meals planned and I don't see a problem with it at all!

One of the great things about a character meal is that the characters come to you while you sit in an air conditioned restaraunt and enjoy a great meal. That sure beats standing in a long line outside in the blazing sun to get pictures and autographs! I also like that most of the character meals are buffets or a family style variety platter. There is usually something to eat that everyone will enjoy - even the pickiest of eaters.

When it comes time to plan your days, I would first take into account park hours, extra magic hours and parade and fireworks times. Once you work out what park you'll be at on each day, try to place your meals in the park you'll be spending time at or at a resort closest to the park. This will help you cut down on travel time in between meals. If you end up with character meals on back to back days, I think that's ok!

I hope this helps! Have fun planning your upcoming vacation!
