Kids on attraction

Hi there! We are visiting with another family and whilst I’ve found height requirements for various rides, I wanted to know are there any adult to child ratios? For example, if my husband and I wanted to take all four kids on a ride is that ok? Thanks!

    Hi, there!

Lucy, I'm so pleased to hear you're planning another Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Now more than ever is the time to visit!

You're going to have the best time experiencing the magic of the theme parks with four kids in tow. What fun! There aren't necessarily adult to child ratio requirements, but children under age 7 must be accompanied by a person age 14 years or older in order to board an attraction. There are many attractions with bench seating like Pirates of the Caribbean and Frozen Ever After that can either accommodate all six of you together in one row or split among two rows. Other attractions, like The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and Journey Into Imagination with Figment, feature ride vehicles that have a front and back seat which can also accommodate your entire party of six. On attractions with single row carts like Haunted Mansion and The Seas with Nemo & Friends, you can split up into two groups of three. Depending on the ages of the children you're traveling with, you may only have issues with some of the thrill attractions that feature bucket seating. These attractions can only accommodate two to a row, and if you have more than two kiddos under the age of 7, you'll need to creatively ride those. One option is to take turns experiencing those attractions so that all the kids are sitting next to someone above the age of 14. Disney's Rider Switch Service may also come in handy!

I hope this was helpful, Lucy. Please let us know if you have any other questions about your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
