Hi there We recently spent a week at WDW and part of the trip was at the beach club resort. We want to go back and is there is any other resort with a comparable pool, and if there is an easier way to get to the parks than the train from epcot?

    Hi Paul!

Disney's Beach Club Resort is spectacular, and the amazing pool there is certainly one of a kind!  It is our family favorite, with its sandy bottom, pirate ship slide and beautiful surroundings. Not to mention that one of favorite eating spots, Beaches & Cream, is located poolside!  It's hard to duplicate!

However, we do have some other "second" favorites.  We love the pirate fortress themed pool at the Caribbean Beach Resort.  Our kids insist on spending lots of time in that pool when we visit there.  We also enjoy the themed pools at the Polynesian Resort, Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, The Boardwalk Inn,  and Wilderness Lodge.  The slides and surroundings are definitely magical at all of these resorts!

As for transportation from EPCOT, you can use the Disney Transportation System's buses from EPCOT to any of the resorts.  In addition, you can ride the Friendship Boats from EPCOT's International Gateway Entrance/Exit to Disney's Yacht & Beach Club, Disney's Boardwalk Resort, and the Swan and Dolphin resorts.  Please note that the Swan and Dolphin Resorts are not official Disney Resorts, though they are located within the Walt Disney World Resort.

I hope that you and your family will enjoy making your next big splash at Walt Disney World!
