Hi there..we are planning on coming to WDW for a week in October and we want to stay at the AKL for 3 nights and then at the CR for the other 4. My question is how do I book 2 separate hotels online. It's only allowing me to pick 1 hotel for the 7 nights

Hi Mandy! I love staying at multiple resorts on my Disney vacations -- it's so much fun to try out different hotels and experience different areas of Walt Disney World! Disney will even transfer your luggage from one resort to another for you. Although Disney makes transferring between resorts easy, booking a stay at multiple ones is not quite as simple. The Disney reservation system does not recognize split stays, so you'll have to make two separate reservations, one for each resort. If you're making room-only reservations, booking two stays is not a problem. If you want to add park tickets, it's usually most cost-effective to purchase them for your entire trip on your first reservation. If you're interested in buying the Dining Plan too, that's when booking a split stay gets a little tricky. Click here to see an answer in which I discuss split stays and the Dining Plan.
