Hi there- We are a military family, booked the room reservations through Disney but will buy the passes via ITT on base. Is there anything special we need to do to link the passes to the magic bands (since I am procuring them via different means)? Thanks!

    Hi The,

First, thank you for your service and for the sacrifices that you and your family have made for our freedom.

One of the ways that our family has really stretched our vacation dollars has been to visit the theme parks using the 4-day Military Promotional Tickets. I am happy to share that in addition to the great savings, they are also simple to use!

What you purchase on base is essentially a voucher for your Walt Disney World theme park admission. On the back of the voucher, you will find a number which you will enter in the ticket section of your My Disney Experience Account. Once you complete that step, you will be free to schedule your FastPass+ reservations 60-days before your first day of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

There is only one small step that you will need to complete before entering a theme park for the first time. Simply stop by any of the Guest Relations desks, located at the entrances of all four theme parks. You will be asked to present your Military ID, and a friendly Cast Member will convert your vouchers to admission tickets. He or she will also ask to see each of the MagicBands that will be used with these tickets so that he or she can ensure that they are linked and working correctly.  Then you will be off!

Please stop back by and visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any further questions!

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally

I would be thrilled to sprinkle a little Pixie Dust on your next unforgettable vacation. Learn More About Sally
