Hello there, So excited this will be my first time staying at Pop Century but i am get mixed answers on which is the most closes building to food and bus. We stayed POR last year but walk was hard on Mom to food court. Please :) help! Thank you,

    Hi Donna,

We've stayed at Pop Century many times, including last weekend. To be closest to Classic Hall, where the food court and the buses are, you want to be in building 1 or 3 in the '50s section, buildings 4 or 5 in the '60s or buildings 6 or 10 in the '70s.

On the map of Pop Century, you can see that one end of each of those buildings is very near Classic Hall. I know that the rooms in the '60s section around the Hippy Dippy Pool are considered preferred rooms. I'm not certain about the others I mentioned.

I suggest you make note of your mother's mobility issues on your reservation and make sure you requested a preferred room. Those are usually a few dollars more per night. And be sure to discuss your concerns about distance with the cast member who checks you in on arrival.

The resorts can't always grant requests for certain buildings or certain sections of buildings, but I've found that they do their best to accommodate your needs.

One thing we like abut Pop Century is that it isn't a huge resort. Last weekend, we were in building 7, about as far from Classic Hall as you can get in this resort. Even then, the walk from our room to the food court was less than 5 minutes for us.

I hope that helps and that you enjoy your visit to Pop Century. Please let me know if I can answer any more questions.
