Kids on attraction

There’s 5 in our family, do I have to activate each ticket to each magic band? Also, I don’t go on scary rides so, If I make a fast pass reservation for my group and I don’t get on a specific ride can the rest of my family still ride that specif ride?

Hi, Flor! Thanks for coming to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

The first thing you'll want to do is link your Theme Park Tickets to your My Disney Experience account. Under the 'MyPlans' section, click the button to 'Link Tickets.' Then you will be prompted to type in the 12-digit code that was emailed to you (or, if you opted to have them mailed, the code will be on the back of the plastic card). Next, select the person to match each ticket to from the drop-down menu.  The last step is to go to the theme park, touch your MagicBand to the touch point at the Main Entrance and enjoy your visit!  If you need help during the linking process, call (407) 939-4357 and the Cast Members will be happy to assist you.

Let's talk about attractions now! Although I'm a roller coaster junkie, I am prone to motion sickness, so Star Tours – The Adventures Continue and Mission: SPACE are often a no go for me. My Mousketeers enjoy these rides, however, so I usually make FastPass+ reservations for the whole family, and then I find a shady resting spot (or indulge myself with a frosty adult beverage) while waiting. Because it goes unused, my FastPass+ selection simply expires. Another option is to book a FastPass+ selection for yourself for a ride you prefer with a similar return window as the rest of your party. Even though your family will all be linked in My Disney Experience, it's perfectly fine to have different FastPass+ selections from each other.

I hope I've answered your questions, Flor! Come back and visit us again!

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania!  I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique.  It’s amazing how many people you can find who love talking about, "The Most Magical Place On Earth!"  I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at middle school basketball games waiting for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
