Hi there, Our Disney trip is less than a month away! This is the first time we will be using the dining plan. The idea of two desserts a day seems a little too much. Are there healthy alternatives/options for desserts, especially quick service? Than

    Sarah,

You must be so giddy knowing your trip is almost here!  I know I would be. My favorite part of our family countdown to a Disney trip is when we get to single digits!

This is a great question and one that I can totally relate to. Our kids don't normally get a lot of desserts at home and even when they do, it is usually fruit! I am also not a huge dessert fan and even when I do have one, I am not a fan of super heavy desserts. We do usually indulge a bit more on vacation, but as you mentioned two desserts a day as part of your dining plan can get to be too much.

Disney is great about offering some healthy options on their menu. Fruit is almost always on the menu in some form or fashion and there is usually a lighter or no sugar added option, too. However, if you don't see something that can work for you, check with your server to see if the chef can come up with an alternative to meet your dietary needs and preferences. They are usually very accommodating and willing to work with guests.

Have a magical time, it will be here before you can say "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!"
