Hi there,my family and i will be staying at port orleans riverside in september to celebrate our twin boys tenth birthdays. My wife and i last visited in 1995 so things will have changed a lot. What will the crowds be like? Many thanks.

    Hi Mark,

It's lovely to see a question from someone in my home County!

I recently celebrated my birthday at Walt Disney World and can honestly say that there isn't anywhere I would have rather been. I'm sure that your twin boys will have a brilliant 10th birthday.

Here are some suggestions to make their birthday even more magical:-

1/ Make a dining reservation for a Character Meal or by calling (407) 939-3463 and pre-order a custom cake to be brought to your table during the meal. Specialty celebration cakes are available for an additional charge and should be ordered 48 hours in advance by calling (407) 827-2253.
2/ Arrange an In-Room celebration through Disney Floral & Gifts. (http://www.disneyflorist.com)
3/ Arrange for some gifts to be waiting upon your arrival at your Disney Resort hotel through Disney Floral & Gifts.
4/ Create their very own Birthday Ear Hats at the Chapeau in the Magic Kingdom theme park.

You will find lots of other ideas on the Customize Your Special Occasion page of the Walt Disney World website.

I would also be sure to pick up a complimentary birthday button when you check-in at your Disney Resort hotel or from Guest Relations as you enter one of the Disney Parks for your boys to wear throughout your stay.

My family visited Walt Disney World in September/October of 2009 and 2011 and we have always found there to be very low crowds at the Parks and the weather to be lovely and sunny with a minimal amount of rain.

If I can be of any further help please feel free to ask me another question.

Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
