    Todd from MI Asked

Hi there! My family is planning a visit to WDW Florida in December to celebrate the return of one of our family member's return home after serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ethiopia. Are there special things Disney does for these types of events?

Hello Todd!   I can't think of a better place to celebrate your family members Peace Corps service than Walt Disney World!   You will find plenty of opportunities throughout the resort to make the trip extra special.   When you arrive make sure you and your party ask any guest service location for special I'm Celebrating buttons. These buttons are sure to get you many congratulations and plenty of smiles throughout your trip.

If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel the fine folks at Disney Floral and Gifts can arrange for an In-Room Celebration  to start off your vacation in grand Disney style.  I think the My Magical Triumph celebration would be a practically perfect way to celebrate your occasion.    Another option would be to have a custom cake delivered to a Disney Dining reservation you are sharing with your family.   You can order a cake by calling the Disney Cake Hotline at (407) 827-2253.  Please be sure to order at least 72 hours prior to the time the cake is needed.

No matter how you celebrate, I know you will have a magical time.   If you have any other questions while planning your reunion please come back and ask.

    Wishing you pixie-dusted planning,
