Hi There! Does the week in September with the lowest crowds or the week in January with the lowest crowds, have the lowest crowds? Haha! As you can tell I am wondering what week of the year has the absolute lowest crowds! ;-) Thanks!

    Hi Jennifer!

You are not alone in wondering when Walt Disney World is the least crowded. As a matter of fact, it is one of the questions I answer the most often from Guests who are planning Disney vacations. Unfortunately, the crowds are like the weather in Orlando--completely unpredictable! There is one little hint I can give you that can sometimes help you guess how crowded it will be at different times of year, though. Usually, crowds fluctuate with the school year calendar. For example, it is usually more crowded during summer break and school holidays. Both times of year you are asking about--September and January--are times school is in session. So my best guess is, those will both be among the times when the crowds are on the lower side. If I had to choose between the two, I would probably go with September so I could take advantage of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. My kids and grandkids think that is so much fun!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Have a wonderful day and best of luck planning your magical Disney vacation!
