Thanks for all the wonderful advice on the Moms Panel. How do I set a PIN for my Magic Bands? Thanks.

Hello Kathleen!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

First, thanks to you for using the Disney parks Moms Panel. I can say with confidence that all of us "Moms" love the interaction and sharing in the Walt Disney World Resort experience with you!

Our MagicBands during a Walt Disney World Resort vacation have become a one-stop multi-tool for all of our planning needs. Whenever my family approaches a moment when our MagicBands are required for FastPass+ Selections, Advanced Dining Reservations, Theme Park Tickets or Memory Maker photos, it is a race to see who gets to be the one who scans first.

Even when my son was under 3 and too young to require his own FastPass Selections, he insisted on scanning his MagicBand.

For safety concerns, setting a PIN to use a MagicBand for purchases throughout Walt Disney World Resort must be completed at a Guest Services location. Cast Members will usually ask you upon Check-In if you would like to have it done then, but you can always return at a later point to your Resort Hotel Guests Services location and have it added or changed later in your vacation.

Just remember that any purchases scanned on a MagicBand will be added to your Resort Hotel Invoice and charged to the connecting credit card.

Remember to use the Online Check-In Service up to 60 days before your vacation and to customize your MagicBands through your My Disney Experience Account.

    Have a Magic(Band) Vacation!
