Thanks for the post Thanksgiving info. MVCP isn't the only objective. I really love WDW with all the decorations. It is full of extra magic. If we can't make the Christmas season work out, what other times of year do you feel WDW is full of extra magic??

    Hi Susan,

I love the fall with all of the seasonal decor. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is delightful. Our son loves this event even more than Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. The Halloween Party allows everyone to trick-or-treat in the Magic Kingdom. The decorations are outstanding. Get special photos with all of the dwarves! The parade is exceptional and an absolute "must-see". Dress in costume for an extra special evening.

Another fun fall event is Epcot's International Food and Wine Festival. Sample the food from nations around the world as you stroll World Showcase.

For a spring activity, Epcot's Flower and Garden Festival is absolutely beautiful. However, you'll want to steer clear of the crowded spring break weeks.

My husband and son would insist that the Star Wars Weekends in May and June are full of galactic magic. I have to admit that it's pretty cool to see the parade of storm troopers. I even got a picture with an Ewok!

I agree that Walt Disney World during the Christmas season adds extra magic to an already enchanting vacation. It's a lot of fun to visit during different times of year when you can sample all of the special events that WDW does so well!
