Thanks, Kirsten! We have decided on the Poly and I need some more info before making reservations. The garden view is the cheapest, but they also have lagoon and park views. Which do you think is best? We can afford it, but not sure what to do. THNX!

    Hi Jennifer!

Great to hear from you again!
The Polynesian is MY favourite Walt Disney World Resort because of it's location, incredible dining options & great pool. Now that you've made the decision to book, further upgrades really depend on how you like to vacation.

I prefer Garden View because we spend very little time IN the room! However, if you know you'll enjoy some down-time, retiring from the parks earlier in the evening, it may be worthwhile to consider a Theme Park or Lagoon view room. There you'd enjoy watching Wishes over the treetops, from the comfort of your balcony, as Cinderella Castle glows in the distance.

If you don't plan on 'Castle Gazing' in the evenings, then a quiet, Garden View room is likely all that you really need.

After making your reservation, you can have a 'requests' note added to your file if you'd prefer a certain longhouse or floor. Theme Park view doesn't require any further request other than whether you prefer a patio, ground floor room or a 2nd or 3rd floor, balcony view. For garden rooms, my favourite building to 'request' is Rarotonga. It's closest to the Great Ceremonial House (for dining & monorail), close to the bus stops, and a short walk to the Epcot monorail. I request a 'top floor monorail view' room in that Longhouse and enjoy watching & hearing the monorail as it hums past in the evening!

There's even some great options available if you'd like an 'adult evening' while your girls are off having fun of their own. Enjoy dining around the Seven Seas Lagoon while the girls visit The Never Land Club; then stroll the Polynesian's torch-lit pathways while sipping on a Kona Cafe kappuccino. A perfect ending to one of many Magical evenings!

Don't hesitate to let me know if I can assist you with any further recommendations.
All the best as your Magical plans come together Jennifer!
