Thanks Kara for your help. We will be taking advantage of the special WDW has for '09! One more question, if we up the resort from moderate to the next level, which would you suggest? Fam 1: 2 adults, boy 8, boy 6 Fam 2: 2 adults, boy 12, boy 12+ Grandm

This is a mighty tough answer, since each resort offers such a different experience.  Here's a couple thoughts:

    1.  Staying at a Magic Kingdom resort offers great, quick access to the Magic Kingdom, and it is easy to feel in the midst of the magic the entire time. Our favorite?  the Polynesian and Wilderness Lodge (but this is not a monorail resort). I'm always drawn to these resorts for that reason.  It is wonderful to watch the fireworks from while swimming or from your balcony in pajamas.

    2.  Staying at an Epcot resort offers easy access to Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot. A favorite of many families is Yacht/Beach Club for its amazing pool.

    3.  The Animal Kingdom Lodge is amazing, and something unlike any resort that I know of in the USA.  With a savanna view, you will literally have giraffes, zebras, and other African animals right outside your balcony. The drawback is while it is close to the Animal Kingdom, it is a longer transport to the other parks.

I've provided links to help you explore these resorts; I wish I could write more, but we are limited on space.  Feel free to send more questions! And, I'm sooo happy you could take advantage of the Celebration Package!
