Thanks for all your help for our vacation starting Nov 27th. One more ? -staying at CS for 8 nights. Would you recommend splitting up the nights, experiencing one more moderate resort? If so, which one? Two middle age adults, spending most time at parks

    Janet,

Resort hopping is a very popular activity for Walt Disney World vacationers. Unfortunately it is one that I have never really understood. For me, the moving is a hassle mid-vacation that takes time away from getting to a park. Also, it keeps me from feeling like I have a home-away-from-home during my stay. I would not do it, but that is just me.

If I were to do it, it would be to combine the luxury of a deluxe stay with the affordability of a moderate/value stay. Keeping costs down, but still getting a few days of higher end accommodations. While I love the theming of the moderate resorts, none are so alluring that I would make the move just to try them out.

So this is probably not the advice you were seeking, but I would recommend staying put. If, however, I were so compelled to want to try out a second moderate resort during my stay, I would go to Port Orleans French Quarter. For two adults this is a great setting, a bit quieter than the nearby Riverside, and with boat access to Downtown Disney for some nighttime dining, shopping, and fun!

    Have a magical vacation!
