Hi, Thanks for your help. Please suggest a room. Going solo. POP-want to be close to lobby. I think I will feel more comfortable & also for the Beach Club-want to be close to lobby with a view & patio or balcony if possible. DECISIONS!!! Thanks

    Hi Karen,

There is a wonderful new resource at the independent website that goes into great detail about the attributes of every hotel room at Walt Disney World. I think you'll find it quite helpful as you get into specifics for a room request. For Pop go to and for the Beach Club go to

You can use the pull down menus to set criteria such as "3 mins or less walk to lobby, "upper floor," sound level etc. The resulting output will be of specific rooms that match your criteria as well as photos of the views from those rooms. As you play around with this, I encourage you to leave the sound level toggle set at "Any" at first.

For the Pop, the buildings that are closer to Classic Hall are #s 1,3,4,5,6 and 10. Within those buildings, the preferred rooms (the ones the have better views and shorter walks) are those ending with 01-36 for bldg 1, with 61-72 for bldg 3, 01-36 and 61-72 for blg 4, 01-12 and 37-72 for blg 5, 01-12 for blg 6, 37-72 for blg 10. You have decide whether you want ground or upper floor.

For the Beach Club, there are really no bad rooms from the stand point of accessibility to the lobby. The hotel has a much smaller footprint than the Pop and in much more contained in general. At the BC, standard view rooms with full balconies facing the woods and Epcot are even-numbered rooms 3512 to 3536, 4578 to 4598. Water view rooms with full balconies facing the lake are odd-numbered rooms 2641-2647, 3501-3511, 3683-3691, 3725-3795, 5607-5623, 5683-5691, and 5725-5795. There is an upcharge for a water view room.
