Hi, all! Thanks for all your help. We are planing to have breakfast at chef Mickey's and will be staying at the wilderness lodge. What is better to take the bus or boat? How long does it take for both? Thanks

    Hi Adrienne!

You have picked one of the best Character Buffet Breakfasts in all of Walt Disney World!  I love dining at Chef Mickey's and the Wilderness Lodge is my favorite Resort!  I personally love taking the boat from the Wilderness Lodge Resort to the Contemporary Resort.  This boat typically stops at the Fort Wilderness Campground first before it continues on to the Contemporary Resort.  This journey can take around 15 to 20 minutes when you get on the boat.  If you leave early enough, this boat ride is simply delightful.  First thing in the morning, typically there are buses that go to the Magic Kingdom and also drop guests off at the Monorail Resorts as well.  This bus ride typically takes 10 to 15 minutes once you board the bus.  If you are in a real hurry, you can take a taxi (this costs money which is usually is under $20.00 including tip) directly from Wilderness Lodge Resort to the Contemporary Resort which only takes about 5 to 10 minutes.

I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is filled with memories and magic!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
