Thanks for the great reply on AKR. We are in the very early planning stage and feeling overwhelmed. Any good WDW travel books out there geared to families with preschoolers. I'm not even sure where to begin.

Hello again Stacey!  You are right that planning a vacation to Disney can be overwhelming but once you get the hang of it, it becomes an addiction!  Disney actually has a section on their website with information specific to traveling with little ones.  You'll notice there are links on the right side of the page that branch out into further details.

I also did a search on Amazon and there is a guide book that is geared towards preschoolers: Beyond the Attractions: A Guide to Walt Disney World with Preschoolers.  Not directly related to preschoolers but you may also want to consider "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Walt Disney World, 2010 Edition."  I've read this book cover to cover and I think it's very well organized and helpful - especially for first time visitors. Your local library may also have guide books you can borrow for your planning.

Of course the Moms Panel is always here for you so feel free to send in more questions as they come up.  Diane
