Thanks for answer on MNSSHP. I will be attending with my husband. It will be our 27th ann. on 9-13 I would really appreciate any and all information you can give and how trick n treating works where to go and what the best places to watch the parade ect.

    Welcome Back Liz!

How cool that you'll be celebrating your anniversary at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) on Friday the 13th!

All guests including adults are encouraged (but not required) to dress up for MNSSHP. Its big fun to see all of the creative costumes. Just keep in mind that you'll be boarding attractions and wear comfortable shoes when designing your costumes.

When you enter the Magic Kingdom (MK), there will be Cast Members just before you go under the Train Station handing out MNSSHP Guide Maps and Trick-or-Treat (ToT) Bags. You're also welcome to bring your own. There will be several ToT locations throughout the MK. Each location is marked with a big yellow balloon with an orange Mickey pumpkin on it. You'll also find them marked on your MNSSHP Guide Map. Once you reach the ToT location, there will be an entrance and you follow it around. The lines flow pretty quickly. You are welcome to visit all of the ToT locations and they usually hand out candy on your way out of the park as well.

There are 2 Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parades with Happy HalloWishes fireworks shown between them. They project a lot of great things on Cinderella Castle for this special fireworks presentation so having a great view of the front of the Castle is where you'll want to be. I'd suggest the hub in front of the Castle. You'll need to get there early though.

We opt for the 2nd parade because its typically less crowded and I head towards Frontierland to watch it. That way you're away from Main Street and the flow of the people trying to leave after the fireworks. Last year, we watched it in front of the Hall of Presidents. We went before they put up the ropes and claimed our spots. Look for the little round disks in the pavement and sit just behind them. They remove those to put up the ropes and you'll know you'll be in the front.

Wishing you minnie magical anniversary memories :-) Allison
