Thanks again Darcie! The Wave does look interesting! But the restaurant look pretty dark from photos I found online - do you find it really dark inside? I don't mind but my daughter prefer brighter space. How's the noise level there? Many thanks!

Okay, you've got me on that one, Jessica; it is pretty dark inside The Wave, but not in a bad way.  You actually walk through this tunnel-like entrance  to get into the restaurant.  Once inside, you'll discover a dimly-lit area with cool blue and orange tones.  Just off the entrance to the restaurant is a waiting area that conveys the feeling of an ocean cave with blue lighting overhead.  The restaurant itself is brighter, though still dim, without any natural light.  We typically vacation during hot, summer months and have always found The Wave to provide a cool and serene respite from the parks.  But if you have a preference for bright natural light, I can see why you'd have an aversion to this particular restaurant.  As for the noise level, like I mentioned, I've always found the ambiance at The Wave to be serene.  It's not too loud--at least by my standards.  It's definitely on my list of Disney's "respite restaurants".  To give you an idea of the ambiance I'm referring to, also included on my list would be Mama Melrose, the Sci-Fi Dine-In, and San Angel Inn.  These particular eateries offer guests a calm, cool and collected place to relax and refuel before heading back out into the super-charged theme parks.  Does that make sense?

I hope I'm helping, Jessica.  Don't hesitate to ask away; your questions are so fun and thoughtful!
