Hello! Thanks in advance for your help. I'm planning a WDW trip for my husband and 5 yo dtg in may who have never been to WDW. I have been but last time was 1994. I'm not sure if it's better to stay at WDW or not? is park hopper realistic for 5yo?

Hi Laura! I would absolutely encourage you to stay on property for the many great benefits you receive from being a Disney resort guest.  You can participate in the free Disney Magical Express bus service from the Orlando airport to the resorts and never have to worry about a car during your whole stay.  Those great services add a savings to any family trip.

Other benefits include the ability to make dining reservations for your complete stay 180 days out from your arrival date, choose a dining plan ahead of time, and taking advantage of the Extra Magic Hours for all four parks.  This is a great time to enjoy many of the popular attractions without the long lines you find during the peak hours of the day. To see these and other benefits please click HERE.

I also enjoy the Park Hopper tickets for our family.  It allows us to head to Extra Magic Hours at one park and then leave to go to another that might not be as busy during the day.  Then if there is a special parade or event at another park in the evening it gives you so much more freedom to plan your days so you aren't missing a thing!
