Mom With Kids After Run

Thank you for your prev. answer. If my mother is staying at another Disney resort will she be allowed to come play at our resort with the kids? Also how much trouble would it be to upgrade her to our resort?

Hi Sherri!  Your mother can definitely come to your resort to play!  I know your kids would love that and it would give you some relief as well.  Some resort pools will require you to show your room key if she took the kids to the pool so be aware of that.

To upgrade her to your resort you would simply call the reservation number, 407-934-7639, to ask about availability  and then change her reservation over to a room if available.  At that time you can request her new reservation be linked to yours and ask for a room as close as possible if that is your preference.

The biggest drawback with being at two different resorts is dealing with the transportation.  There is no resort to resort busses so you must always get to a park and transfer there.  This can be more difficult and time consuming when it is late in the evening.  Your final choice will be to catch a bus to Downtown Disney and make the transfer.  When on vacation it is just nice not to have to spend more time on the busses then necessary.  You don't want to always have to wait for each other as well.

Either way will work......and you will have a great time being together!  It is very special to have a mother who will come and be with her family and help out as well!  Your vacation will truly be magical!
