Thank you for the newest &latest on Phineas &Ferb, We will make it his birthday surprise! He will turn 7 at WDW! Our oldest is 8 with autism. We have already researched the GAC. Would we be able to utilize it for character meet and greets , as wel

You are very welcome and it is great to hEAR back from you, Julie!  How exciting that your son will celebrate his birthday while at Walt Disney World! Be sure to pick up a birthday celebration button at Guest Services when you enter any of the theme parks for your son. He will love all of the birthday wishes that he will receive from cast members and other guests! I had to do a little research regarding the Guest Assistance Card being utilized at Character Greeting Locations. From everything I have read, the Guest Assistance Card (GAC)  is usually available for attractions and some shows based on the type of Guest Assistance Card you are issued and will be available for the duration of your stay. I just called Disney directly to verify my information for you and the cast member I spoke with has also utilized the Guest Assistance Card with a family member. She explained to me that the GAC was not available for use with the Character Greetings to her knowledge. I would recommend asking the cast member again to be on the safe side when you pick up your Guest Assistance Card at Guest Relations on your first theme park day. You will want to explain to the cast member what concerns you may have for your daughter so that they can best assist you. I have found most lines for Character Greetings to move rather quickly and are traditionally not over-stimulating.I also wanted to recommend that you visit the unofficial website allears.net which has a very informative section regarding traveling to Walt Disney World with children that have autism. Go under their "Planning" section and scroll down until you see the area "For Travelers with Special Challenges." I find the tips and reader comments to be very helpful. I am out of room, but please don't hesitate to write me back if you would like any additional recommendations for your son's birthday or have any other questions that I can assist you with. Best wishes for a Magical Trip, Julie!
    Happy Planning,
