Thank you for answer! We chose kona since it is close. Want to surprise my DH with 10 yr anniversary surprise, what can they do at restaurant? His favorite is key lime pie, can I preorder this from another location? I don't see it on kona menu. Thank you!

    Hi Amanda,

Thanks for checking back with me! I think you will have a terrific meal at Kona Cafe. We never leave disappointed.

You've stumped me a little whether it's possible to get a key lime pie. I called the Disney Cake Hotline (407-827-2253) to see if they also offer pies. Unfortunately, they do not. You can order a variety of custom cakes there, however, that can be delivered to Kona. Or each table service restaurant has a supply of chocolate or vanilla "Celebrate Today" cakes that are available without preorder. Simply let your hostess know you would like one when you check in for dinner.

My only other thought would be to call Disney Dining at 407-939-3463 to see if they can somehow make it happen for you.

(By the way, Olivia's Cafe at the Old Key West resort is famous for its key lime pie -- in case the whole family wants to stop in there for a treat sometime during your vacation.)

If you are still looking for an anniversary surprise for your husband, you might want to check out the selections at Disney Floral & Gifts that can delivered to your resort room.

I also suggest that you pick up the free Happy Anniversary buttons available at all the resorts and theme parks. Sometimes, celebrating couples wearing the buttons get magical surprises bestowed on them by Walt Disney World cast members.

I'm sorry I couldn't come up with a definitive answer for you on the pie. Wishing you a very special anniversary celebration!
