What temperature is the weather the end of august & will any rides be closed and how busy is it the last week of august? what hotel that is fairly cheep for a family of 6 but has free breakfast & close to Disneyland entrance do you recommend?

    Hey there, Pamela!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your trip will be here before you know it, so I'd love to help you get more prepared before you leave. August tends to be a very popular month at the Disneyland Resort. I advise you arrive to the parks as early as possible and grab Disney FASTPASS return times for popular attractions early in the day. These early morning hours tend to be the least crowded. Temperature range from 63°F to 86°F. The California sun can get pretty hot in the afternoons, so remember to drink plenty of water and bring your hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen.

To view Daily Events Schedules including attraction and entertainment refurbishments, you can view the schedule online usually up to 6 weeks in advance of your trip. Every calendar day is listed with entertainment times for both parks as well as attractions that may be closed for each park.

There are many Good Neighbor Hotels located around Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Since your trip is so close, I would advise checking as soon as possible as some hotels may be starting to get booked. Many offer complimentary breakfast and even transportation to the parks. Just be sure to call each hotel individually to double check the available amenities.

I hope this helps, and don't hesitate to return if you have any more questions. Have a Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah day.
