What can you tell me about the Rapunzel Lantern Photo Opportunity? I'm crossing my fingers and toes that it will still be there when we arrive in September! This will be so much fun and what a photo? What time is best to arrive at her tower? :-)

I can see the light, Mary, and it’s like the fog has lifted to reveal an amazing Disney PhotoPass opportunity! The news on this must-do Photopass special was first touted by the Disney Parks Blog, and ever since, I’ve been waiting to catch my lantern!

Just as dusk falls, you’ll find a PhotoPass photographer near Rapunzel’s tower with a life-size glowing lantern! It’s not too heavy and fairly sturdy, so bring your whole brood to lift it high and take a magical photo. (Bonus points for remembering all the words to the song, “I See The Light” as the photog snaps away). Word on the street from my buddies is they have found the PhotoPass lantern opportunity in Rapunzel’s Courtyard all the way into the late evening Extra Magic Hours, so you have a great opportunity during your autumn visit to hold the lantern for yourself. If you’re visiting Epcot, stop over at the China pavilion to hold the glowing lotus for a photo. It allows for an otherworldly glow and very special photo! Since you've told me you have Memory Maker, you can find all the other Magic Shot opportunities on Disney’s Photopass Facebook page, in the Albums section, where you can find every single magic shot available, and organized by park.

Need more fun over by Rapunzel’s tower? Peek in and around the river bed, tower and flower boxes to find the hidden Pascals in all different colors. Can you challenge your family to find them all? My favorite one is ground level, and very hard to spot! Have the BEST DAY EVER! ~ Lindsey P.
