Can you tell me if the MK is having a special firework display on July 3rd as well as the 4th? Do I need to worry about getting into Epcot after dinner on the 4th (worried it will be full to capacity) and we will miss illuminations..YOU GUYS ROCK!

    Hi Joy!

Thanks for the compliment on the Moms Panel.  We all enjoy helping guests plan their magical vacation to Walt Disney World.

Historically, the Magic Kingdom does indeed "rehearse" the special July 4th fireworks the night before.  It won't be as crowded as July 4th, but it will still be packed.  With regards to July 4th, there is a good chance the Magic Kingdom and Epcot will both close due to capacity.  If you really want to make sure you get to see Illuminations and the special holiday tag that night, then I suggest getting to Epcot in early afternoon and staying there until the fireworks.

Enjoy planning your vacation and write back if you have any more questions!
