Can you tell me if kids in wheelchairs can participate in Jedi Training Academy?

    Welcome Back Debbie ~

I feel the force is strong with you. The Jedi Training Academy is an excellent place for kids in wheelchairs to hone their skills so that they can prepare to do battle with the Dark Side.

Jedi Training Academy is wheelchair accessible so young Padawans may remain in their wheelchairs during their training. All participants do need to be able to follow basic commands from their Jedi Master to complete their training.

Registration is held at the ABC Sound Studio near Star Tours and the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular. Each potential Padawan that would like to participate must be present with an adult at the time of registration. The Cast Members ask each potential Padawan a couple of questions to make sure they can follow basic instructions.

Jedi Training Academy is a very popular experience. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis and when they have reached their capacity for the day, they will close registration. I would recommend arriving at Hollywood Studios early and heading over to sign up to ensure a spot for the day.
