    Peter from Wiltshire Asked

Hello - can you tell me if Disney World offers free internet wifi, either in the any of the Disney Parks or in hotel lobby's. Im staying at the Pop Century hotel in June, and dont mind resort hopping to get free wifi at another resort.

Hi, Peter! I love me some free wifi. Personally, I think it's worth the extra effort to snoop around for a free signal rather than shell out about $10 a day for an internet connection in your room. And, while Pop Century does have the amazing Tie Dye Cheesecake, it does not have free wifi.

I've recently been using my mobile phone (Verizon iPhone 4) as a mobile hotspot for my other devices. It's super convenient. If creating a mobile hotspot with your phone isn't an option for you, it doesn't hurt to scan the area for available signals in the event someone nearby has a wifi signal you can share. I'll share with you, dude.

If you still come up short, you're not without options. Here are a host of other options for free wifi:

    Theme Parks
    • Epcot - Futureworld at Innoventions East
    • Epcot - Lotus Blossom Cafe, stronger signal in the back
    • Hollywood Studios - stand near Sorcerer's Hat on the Brown Derby side
    • Magic Kingdom - stand outside City Hall
    Resorts & Other Places
    • ESPN Wide World of Sports
    • Boardwalk boat loading area outside of Boardwalk resort
    • Beach Club lobby
    • Contemporary - outside of gift shop area
    • Coronado Springs lobby
    • Grand Floridian lobby
    • Orlando International Airport
    • Downtown Disney - DisneyQuest
    • Downtown Disney - Wolfgang Pucks Express
    • Downtown Disney - Sosa Family Cigar Co. (signal even strong outside)
    • Downtown Disney - outside House of Blues (several)
