Hi! Can you tell me the differences between the 3 Mexican restuarants in Epcot? Which would be best for basic tacos (for picky kids) but have a little more variety for adults? Can they custom make tacos if kids don't like all of the toppings? Thanks!

    Hello Kristen!
Epcot is the place to be if you are looking for Mexican cuisine in Walt Disney World, there are lots of option to please everyone in your family.
La Cantina de San Angel is the only counter service option and while there is not a lot of variety for adults, they offer a couple of options such as chicken tenders and cheese empanadas that will please your picky eaters.   The patio overlooks World Showcase Lagoon and can be a perfect place to watch Illuminations: Reflections of Earth.
La Hacienda de San Angel, which is right next door to La Cantina de San Angel, is a table service restaurant that offers a wonderful variety for adults.  The menu has authentic dishes that you won't find in your local eatery.  The kids menu also features fare such as tacos and chicken tenders, the tacos are served plain so your picky eaters will certainly be happy with this option.
San Angel Inn is the other table service option for Mexican food at Epcot, it is located inside of the pyramid in the Mexican Pavillion.  It is located right in front of a smoking volcano and the Grand Fiesta Tour boat ride can be seen from most tables. Since it is always night inside this location it can be a little dark.  The food here offers a little less variety in my opinion, but the Mole Poblano is one of my favorite dishes at Epcot.  The children's menu offers the typical variety that La Hacienda de San Angel offers with chicken tenders, beef tacos and chicken tacos as options.
I have some picky eaters in my family and we never have any problems at any of these restaurants finding something they like to eat.  I would check out the menus on allears.net to get an idea of what offerings they have for adults and base your decision on the variety.  I hope this helps and please let us know if we can answer anymore of your questions!

    Enjoy your "Disney Time!"
