Can you tell me the difference between Port Orleans French Quarter and Port Orleans Riverside? Thanks!!! :o)

    HI Jonathon,

Port Orleans French Quarter has 1,008 rooms themed around New Orleans with touches of Mardi Gras celebrations and is a favorite of many guests since the resort has a smaller feel (it was actually a separate resort until it joined up Riverside in 2001). The rooms were redone in 2005 and are 314 square feet.  There is a food court, but no table service restaurant. It also has one pool and one bus stop.

Next door to the French Quarter is Port Orleans Riverside, which is nearly twice as large with 2,048 rooms themed as either rustic houses in the bayou or plantation-style mansions. The rooms are also 314 square feet. It has both a food court and a table service restaurant. It has 4 bus stops as well as 6 pools. One unique quality is that some of the rooms can accommodate families of 5 (one member is encouraged to be under the age of 9 since the extra bed is small). I also wanted to share that in the spring of 2012 there will be an opportunity to stay in Royal Guest Room; click here for more information.

What may be helpful is to visit the extensive photo library of each resort at www.allearsnet.com if you'd like to see how they look differently, too.
