Can you tell me the cost per day for an adult dining plan and a child dining plan?

Hi, Heidi!  There are actually three different dining plans available to guests staying at Walt Disney World resorts.  You'll find a quick service plan, a standard dining plan, and a deluxe dining plan.

The quick service dining plan for 2013 is $37.58 for adults, and $14.32 for children ages 3 - 9.  On this plan, you get two quick service (counter service) meals, one snack, and a resort refillable mug.  This price is per night of your stay.

The standard plan, which is the one many people prefer, includes one quick service meal, one counter service meal, one snack, and one refillable mug.  The price for adults is $55.59, and $17.16 for children during value and regular season.  In peak season, the price increases by about $1 per person, per day.

The deluxe dining plan is for the foodie who wants to really enjoy the amazing dining experiences at Walt Disney World without skipping anything.  The adult price for this plan is $99.97 per day, and for children, it's $26.84 per day.  During peak season, you'll find about a $2 per person, per day increase.  The deluxe plan includes your choice of any combination of three table service meals or quick service meals per day (meaning, you can have all table service, all counter service, or some of each every day), two snacks, and a refillable mug.

I hope this helps you in making the decision for your family.  I know people who must do the deluxe plan, because they simply can't decide which restaurants they want to visit.  Other friends only do the quick service, so they don't have to be concerned with making reservations or being anywhere at a certain time.  Deciding which is right for you really depends on how you like to vacation.

    Thanks for the question!
