Can you tell me how the child swap works?

    Hey Tina!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m so happy you have visited and sent us your question about Rider Switch service at Walt Disney World Resort.

You can find step-by-step instructions for utilizing Rider Switch service on the previously linked page. This page also includes a complete list of Walt Disney World Resort Attractions that offer Rider Switch service.

I will summarize the basics of Rider Switch service for you below:

With Rider Switch, if a child does not meet the height requirement of an Attraction or a Guest does not wish to board the Attraction, one adult can wait with the non-rider(s) while the rest of the party enjoys the Attraction. When the other adult returns, they can stay with the non-riders while the waiting adult boards the Attraction — without having to wait in line again!

Please keep in mind that Rider Switch is only available at select Attractions at all 4 Walt Disney World Resort theme parks.

Tina, if you have any more questions or need further clarification please visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel again. We are always here to answer your Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning questions!
