Hi! My teenagers know we are going to WDW but we are surprising them with a stay at the Polynesian Resort. Will we be able to take Disney's Magical Express from the airport to the resort without them knowing where we are going until we arrive?

Christine welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited for you. What a fun surprise!

When waiting to board Disney's Magical Express, you line up in ques according to your resort. The driver also does announce the resorts he will be stopping at once everyone is on the bus. This may ruin your surprise - but it doesn't have to! A surprise is a surprise no matter when you find out, right? Here is what I would do.  I would pack some Leis in your carry-on and right before you get in line for the Magical Express, put one on each teen and tell them to try to guess the correct line to get into. It's a fun way to reveal an amazing surprise! Then on the ride there you can talk all about your exciting resort!

If you are using the luggage delivery service, you will get yellow luggage tags in the mail several weeks before you leave that you need to attach to your checked luggage. The tags do have the resort listed on them. Watch out for this in the mail and maybe see if you can attach them to the bags without them noticing once they are all packed.

Wishing you and your family a magical vacation, Christine!

Meet the Panelist: Rachel, Wisconsin

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
