I have 2 teenage boys under age 18 that are into lifting weights and fitness. Is there an age minimum for using the fitness center at Coronado Springs or any other resort's fitness center? Thanks a bunch.

    Hi Kim,

Guests must be 18 years old to use the fitness centers on their own. Guests ages 14-17 may use the fitness centers if a parent or guardian is present.

In my experience, these rules are applied somewhat erratically. During one recent trip, my 14yo daughter went to the fitness center at the Wilderness Lodge to use the treadmill. All went well. She ran and then came back up to the room to shower. The next day she tried to do the exact same thing. A different cast member was at the desk and she was told that she could not run unless as parent was in the room. The same thing has happened to us at other Disney hotels as well.

In general, you can assume that if your kids are at least 14, they will be allowed to use the fitness centers. In practice, whether or not you have to be there with them will depend on the leniency of the cast members on duty at the time.
