    Hi Moms :) are taxes included in the dining plan, or is it something added like the gratuity. Thank you

    Hi, Jassandra.  Disney dining plan meal entitlements do cover the tax for both counter service meals and table service meals (for items included in the plan).  If you order something that isn't included--an alcoholic beverage, for instance, you would be billed for the drink and tax for that particular item.  Also, just to clarify, for parties consisting of fewer than six people, Disney does not charge an automatic gratuity.  For parties of five or less, there is a suggested gratuity printed at the bottom of the receipt, but the amount of tip you leave is your discretion.  I hope that clears things up for you!
