    Linda from FL Asked

We have our taxes and other bills to prove we live in Florida. We that work for Florida resident park tickets?

    Hi Linda,

It's always nice to hear from a fellow Floridian! As a resident of the state, you can access a wide range of special offers and discounts at Walt Disney World.

A Florida drivers license, state-issued ID or Florida-based military identification is the easiest way to verify your residency. Those IDs can be used to prove your residency status when you purchase tickets online. That allows you to skip Guest Relations and head straight to the theme parks.

But if you don't have one of those IDs, there are a number of alternate ways to show proof of residency. Those include a recent mortgage statement, bank statement, utility bill or car registration.

Right now is the perfect time to take advantage of being a Florida resident. The limited time Discover Disney ticket offer gives you a low rate on admission for three or four days through June 30, 2020. If you are interested in visiting Walt Disney World frequently over the next year, one of the annual passes specially priced for Floridians may meet your needs. For my family, the Silver Pass is ideal.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Linda. Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you or offer recommendations on how to plan your time in the Walt Disney World theme parks. Enjoy!
