Hi Tanya! ADR for WC at WL for 5pm. How close is it to make it to campfire for 7? Can we walk? Can we then see electrical pageant or is all this stuff miles apart? Read you every day! Thanks, a grateful Canadian (who STILL can't get ADRs 4 LeCellier! LOL

    Hi there Kim!

Thanks for writing to me!  Whispering Canyons Cafe is a hoot!  The wait staff could all be actors in a slap-stick Western comedy revue!

As for how big the campground is, the legend at the "Fort" says it's "one mile as the crow flies", but it's actually a bit longer.

There are two ways to get from Wilderness Lodge to the Campground for the Chip & Dale Campfire.  You can take a boat from the marina behind the pool at the Lodge.  The boat will drop you off at the marina at the back of the Campground.  Alternatively, you can take a bus from the front of the Lodge to the front of the Campground.  Once you arrive at the campground, you need to take an internal bus to the Meadow Trading Post and then walk a short distance to the campfire area.  Now for the "tough" part - timing.  You definitely have a chance to make it to the campfire by 7pm, but it will be tight.  If you allow about an hour for dinner, your chances are good.  They don't actually light the campfire until closer to 7:30, as it starts with Cast Members leading the crowd in a sing along, so even if you don't get there right on time, you'll still have a ton of fun.

The Electric Water Pageant usually passes by Fort Wilderness at around 9:45pm in the evening (this is subject to change, and contingent upon good weather, so check at the resort to ensure the time is correct for the actual day you are interested.)  If you wanted to see the Pageant at the Fort after the campfire, you would take an internal bus back to the beach area, as the parade of barges travels on the Seven Seas Lagoon.

I think your agenda is definitely doable, especially if you don't mind getting to the campfire a few minutes after it starts, and can certainly end up being an amazing night!  Have fun!

P.S. Try Le Cellier for lunch, I find it much easier to get reservations and the menu is great (and less expensive!)
