We are talking the Disney Magical Express for 2:30pm flight our last day and are staying at the Grand Floridian. If we have a 10:40am breakfast reservation - is it possible to eat breakfast there if we potentially need to be on our bus at 11:30?

    Hi Jen,

You're less than two weeks away from your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I bet you're getting SO excited. I LOVE Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and am getting excited FOR you!

The day before you check out, you'll receive a Transportation Notice in your room with specific details for your Disney's Magical Express ride back to the airport. Rides are currently being scheduled at least three hours before flight departures, making your pick up time likely 11:30 a.m. at the latest. They ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled motorcoach ride, so I fear that a 10:40 a.m. dining reservation would be pushing things too closely. You may find yourself just like Cinderella having to leave the ball early and dashing to beat the clock! I would definitely recommend searching for an earlier advanced dining reservation time. If you are unable to find an earlier time at your chosen restaurant, be sure to check other breakfast locations around the Walt Disney World Resort. You're likely to discover something else fun and delicious! One other option is the Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa which has some yummy Quick-service options (including my personal favorite...Mickey waffles.)

It seems I'm never quite ready to leave the Walt Disney World Resort, but Disney's Magical Express makes that first leg of my journey home super easy. I hope the memories you make during your vacation bring you smiles to last a lifetime! Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jen, and please let us know if you have any other questions!
