Taking 6 yr old son to WDW Jun for7 days. If we want to visit the water parks on 2 days and hit MK or Epcot in the evening should I buy 7 day base tickets with the water park option or 9 day base tickets with water park option? Extra hours at water park?

    Hi Lori!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

Theme park admissions are counted separately from water park admissions on the Magic Your Way tickets.  So if you want to visit a theme park each day for 7 days, regardless of whether you also want to visit a water park on any of those days, then you need a 7 day Magic Your Way ticket.  Then to get access to the water parks, you should purchase the Water Park Fun and More option.

If, however, you want to skip visiting a theme park on one day then you could just get a 6 day Magic Your Way ticket with the Water Park Fun and More option.

In the past, Disney has offered Extra Magic Hours on select evenings in the water parks.  You should check the Extra Magic Hours schedule when you arrive at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel!  Enjoy planning, and please write back if you have any more questions!
