We are taking our 6yr old grandson who has a egg allergy to Disney Land. Would you suggest we get a dining plan? Or any suggestions where to eat?

Disneyland prides itself on offering a diverse range of food options sure to meet the dietary needs of every guest, including those with special restrictions like your son's egg allergy!

You should have no problem finding egg-free choices at most of the counter service dining locations throughout the parks.  When in doubt, just ask!  If the Cast Member assisting you does not have the nutritional information, be sure to ask for a manager!

All of the Disneyland Table Service restaurants will be able to accommodate most common food allergies, including your grandson's egg allergy! The Chef will usually come out to your table and take notes which will help him or her create a magical dish without the eggs! It is recommended that you make an advanced reservation at the locations of your choice by calling Disneyland Dining at (714) 781-DINE.  You should also be sure to have the Cast Member assisting you notate your reservation with the details of your daughter's allergy so the restaurant staff is prepared for your arrival!

While I am a huge fan of the Dining Plan at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, I don't much care for Disneyland's Dining Plan.  If you were visiting Walt Disney World, I'd say "go for it" as that plan is designed to save you some money!  Disneyland's meal plan is structured more like a pre-pay plan and uses vouchers.   It's convenient because all of your meals will be paid for prior to your arrival, but honestly does not save money.

    Best Wishes,
