We are taking our young kids for their first Disney trip with a couple of our friends. We would like to use our FastPasses for rides that the kids will be too small for. Can we go with them to their FastPass character meetups or do we need FPs too?

Greetings Becky, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I am happy to see you are planning a visit with your children! The Walt Disney World Resort offers great fun for little ones, and I am sure you are going to make many magical memories.

It is very important that kids be supervised at all times for everyone’s safety, so please note that children under 7 must be accompanied by a Guest 14 or older to enjoy attractions. This means that if you would like to accompany your children to character meet and greets using FastPass+, you will also need to have the same FastPass+ selections.

Moms Panel tip: I highly recommend using Rider Switch. This great feature allows adult Guests to take turns waiting with children who cannot ride. After one adult has enjoyed the attraction, the other adult can also enjoy it without having to wait in line again.

Thank you for your visit, Becky. I hope you stop by real soon!

    Best magical wishes,
